i was told it was like mixing with bad association , i found that quite laughable considering all the scandal that went on in the congregation , it made eastenders look very tame , im suprised they could not see it for themselves ,how hypocritical it all was

I remember back in the 70s and 80s teh Spanish sisters wwere really berated over watching TeleNovelas.....Spanish Language Soaps. Because they were DEMONIZED. Cristina Baza'n was the big one I remember the overlords mentioning from the pedestal. Then in the 90's there was another big surge and this time the co came by and told them the key to not watching Novelas was NO-VE-LAS Which means Don't-Watch- Them and that the Slave says they are bad for us.

it must be memorial season!!.

2 car groups in 3 days have stopped by...... funny thing is..... i havent seen anyone aside from brief and hurried " hey, mate" in the various grocery stores, or typical places to run into folk you know for months, and more likely years....... so yesterday, they brought me the latest "insider" wts and after about 10 min of pleasant meaningless banter, finally got to the point....." it would be nice to see you at the hall".

my response: i have to tell you straight out, that we are all much happier and doing better without marinating in a doomsday atmosphere... we have to look at life in a way where we find different reasons to hope...... talk about a conversation stopper.... i am guessing this is where is starts to show up on the radar...... they were sisters of the fleshly type to one of the elders.

i heard a woman being interviewed on a radio station this morning and thought this would be an interesting subject to discuss !

in the interview this woman stated that , " men many times only hug you or touch when they want to have sex .

if more men saw that holding hands in public, or the need to reach out to touch a woman affectionately outside of the bedroom , put your arm around her casually- without any expectations , more men would end up in the bedroom later with a woman who feels she has been loved throughout the day !

That is a powerful story. It is scary how a little aside like how the youth are going can trigger such a negative response. They are really arrogant, aren't they? I am glad you are out, but sorry you lost your wife in the trade.

Wine Disasters During the Memorial

i wonder how often wine spills happen at the memorial.

the wine bottle dropped or spilled onto the floor?someone slopping wine onto someone's shirt, the chair, or the floor?someone spilling the glass of wine onto someone's shirt or the floor?someone dumping the table, spilling wine on the floor?the table getting hit hard enough to slop wine onto the tablecloth?a glass of wine getting dropped, preferably busted?someone's littera-trash getting ruined because of a wine spill?a child hitting someone with the glass of wine, resulting in a spill?having someone intentionally dump the wine on someone, perhaps a teenager doing it to the parent that dragged them in?the crackers are less messy--they can be cleaned up with a vacuum cleaner instead of getting in the carpet or someone's suit to leave a stain.

they can, however be knocked off the plate by passing them, have the whole plate dumped, or perhaps having the whole plate dropped (and hopefully busted).

No, nothing so dramatic here, however I did hear a kid holler, "GIVE IT TO ME GOTDAMMIT!" When they passed the wine....he thought it was grape juice! LOL

My two cents say that it is between him and the boe. If you do anything pro or con with this you stand a good chance of getting blamed for whatever happens. You have let him know your thoughts. Leave it in his hands. Anyways, he will probably blab about your talks anyways and undo himself. Such a tight spot you are in......

this is a poingnant statement for several reasons!.

it deeply poisons feelings and thoughts long after leaving and so maybe needs a closer examination for many of us?.

i've tried thinking of a number of ways it harms humans but if you can think of more please add comments ?

I was under the impression we are all worthy of death from the Bible not because some old fart in brooklyn said so. But, you are right....they push it way too hard. Jesus never went around rubbing it in like they do.

hi hope you all have a fantastic long weekend.

well it's a long weekend here is s.a. (friday and monday) happy times.

i don't really celebrate easter but will definately be getting some chocolate eggs and having a family lunch on sunday.. i've been outta action this week with a pinched nerve - i wouldn't wish it upon my enemy.. here's to good times!!!!!!!!!!.
